Path weaver by Inku-inku Path weaver by Inku-inku
It's been a while since I've drawn anthros!
It took very long to get this far with this idea. I'm not entirely satisfied with it, and might work on it even more. It seemed finished enough to upload at least. The blank skies and disappearing trees are intentional ;).

I did the pencil work shortly after my trip to Switzerland. The breathtaking views really affected me. Using reference photos proved to be completely unnecessary here. I can still see all of these views in my mind very clearly.

Scan is pretty 'meh'. The raven lady looks much better on the original, so are the 'blank' areas.

I love every thing about this !  The color choice the use of negative space the design and the subject matter looks deeply symbolic.

i have a passion for corvids and the paths of fate.. my hubby and i are always saying that some serious strings must have been pulled for us to have come together. he's originally from ontario, i'm from boston..and our long distances apart have both kept our love strong and prepared us for the long bouts of separation that the military carries with it. i have a feeling you understand..

Love this idea, it seems like something you'd hear in a really old folk tale. The way her feather's become like hair is nice and understated too.

Interesting idea :)
Mountains looks really natural, and her claws too. Stones, for me, are amazing - they look like I could touch them and can feel they sharp and cold.

I'm amazed with how well you manage to keep a traditional painting subtle yet look complete (am struggling to achieve that :) ) also, great concept and an interesting anthro character.
The piece must look wonderful in reality, scans never show the full potential.

I was a bit worried the vanishing areas are making the work seem a bit unfinished, glad someone thinks otherwise :).

I like especially the idea of this, how the raven is weaving the path or route. Very fascinating. On the other hand I wonder how the path feels if you could actually walk on it, but then again, I also love how it's symbolic.
